A Better Chance
Supported Living Services (ABC SLS) offers consumers
of Golden Gate Regional Center and the Regional Center
of the East Bay personalized supports in their own
homes or apartments.
 Our consumers are
active, contributing members of their communities. Specific
supports are tailored to the individual’s particular needs and interests.
ABC
SLS works with the consumer to develop a “Circle
of Support,” consisting of the individual, family
members, friends, and associates. As a team, Circle of
Support members create a person-centered plan, that helps
the individual to address community living challenges
and life long goals. Circle members and the consumer
decide what level of personal support is needed, what
staff to hire, and what back-up and emergency support
should be in place. They meet as needed to assist the
consumer in achieving the most independent, autonomous
life possible.
